The ZBrush to KeyShot Bridge connects one copy of ZBrush with KeyShot (sold separately). You will then be able to use KeyShot as your default rendering engine when doing a Best Preview Render (BPR) in ZBrush. The Bridge is compatible with:
It is not compatible with a version of KeyShot that is labeled as being “for” any application other than ZBrush.
All KeyShot purchases or upgrades made on or after October 1, 2019 will receive a FREE UPGRADE to KeyShot 9 for ZBrush when it is released.
A perfect companion for ZBrush, the KeyShot renderer is a separate program that can serve as a nearly real-time visualizer of your model while you sculpt or can output your images with photo-real quality for professional presentation. They KeyShot for ZBrush versions require use of the ZBrush to KeyShot Bridge (sold separately) in order to load scenes. Choose between two feature sets: KeyShot 9 HD for ZBrush and KeyShot 9 Pro for ZBrush. Each has the same features as its regular KeyShot counterpart, except that it requires use of the ZBrush to KeyShot Bridge.
If you already have a KeyShot for ZBrush license, you may upgrade to KeyShot 9 HD for ZBrush or KeyShot 9 Pro for ZBrush. Please see here.
Each copy receives a unique serial number which is assigned to a single artist. The software may be activated by internet. Deactivation is also available, making it easy to move the software between two computers. Offline activation and deactivation may be used for computers without internet access.
The ZBrush to KeyShot Bridge is a single-platform license. You may run it on both platforms by taking advantage of the Cross-Platform Secial. (See below.) KeyShot for ZBrush is a dual-platform license and may be run on either Windows or Mac.
The ZBrush to KeyShot Bridge also has a "Home Use" rule which allows it to be activated on two computers (such as a desktop and laptop or a work computer and home machine), provided that both copies aren’t actually run at the same time.
The ZBrush to KeyShot Bridge is purchased for PC or Mac. If you are a private (non-business) user wishing to run the ZBrush to KeyShot Bridge on both platforms, Pixologic provides a 50% discount on a second (cross-platform) license -- and this discount may even be applied to the promotional introductory pricing! After purchasing the first license for either platform, please Submit a Ticket at https://support.pixologic.com requesting the second license. This option is for individual users only; the second copy may not be shared by another user; the discount is not available to companies.
